US Brain Drain As the U.S. political mood shifts further to the right, those on the left (and even in the center) will feel marginalized and even persecuted. As a result, many will attempt to emigrate to Canada, Australia and other relatively affluent, English-speaking countries. Many of these will be the "best and brightest" in the arts, sciences and technology, with skills that are in demand worldwide. As a result, the U.S. will face a talent crisis, and will need to re-position itself as the premier place to work and do business. |
