Anti-Religion

Between the rise of the "religious right" in the U.S. and continued terror threats from radical Muslims, many in the developed world -- especially young people -- will conclude that organized religion is the source of most of the world''s problems, and will reject it. This is not to say that they will embrace atheism; indeed, many of these "areligious" will be intensely spiritual, but will opt for a very personal, informal faith without laws or judgment. Some will adopt New Age beliefs, while others will continue to practice traditional faiths. This will actually benefit the world''s great religions, as they will adapt to accommodate these believers.
