Light Light will be proven to have mass. The definition Einstein gave to mass is that it is a concentration of energy. If light were a unconcentrated energy how would it condense when matter absorbed it to become mass in that matter? The answer is in the quantum of light: The photon has the mass of the light and that is why the light wave does not need to condense its energy to become mass. It already is condensed energy. It is a quantum. In that form it already is mass by Einstein's definition. |
