We are still trying to figure it out why Lycos.es put us offline without any notice what-so-ever. Because we already know how their support service works (for a reply, four days is minimum and one week wait is current) we have taken the decision to move on to another server and have the site up right away. We have chosen BlueHost.com.
However, there are still some issues we are trying to solve. The main one being that some users can’t log in to their accounts. If you found any other, please let us know.
On a technical note, we could see some improvements in the future, as BlueHost allows Appache Mod Rewrite and has much more space and bandwidth, among other beauties.

Lycos had bad reputation already.
A Russian researcher I know had similar trouble when Lycos automatically inserted an advertisement path redirector that was supposed to time out and show his page, but his site was only unreachable.
They do all sorts of "illegal" modifications as a host or a service provider.
Hence, congratulations; good move.
