During the years 2005-7, a remarkable project shall rise within the developed countries.
The global awareness that poverty on one side and selfishness on the other is behind war shall trigger that great project. The developed countries represented in their governments will become aware of the true reason behind the economic problems they have and that underdeveloped countries are a great market for their products. Not that the great powers shall be expecting to be paid in gold or diamonds but that wild lands can be cultivated and harvested, unutilised mines can be optimised and hungry people can be fed. We shall notice a great change in the international relations. The exceptions shall be related to Israel and North Korea due to historical and hysterical acumulations. The peak of the advances shall be seen in Africa. Mark my words.
You have a good heart my friend. But that will only happen, in my opinion, when humanity reaches the era of Global Consciousness. Google for it. My best estimation is for the year 2050, 2060. I wish I am wrong and we get there sooner.

I don't believe the selfish will turn away from their selfishness. I believe that something needs to be done to end all the suffering in the world, but you put your faith in earthling man to bring about a solution that you admit he constantly causes, while I'll rest my faith in a higher power who promised to bring about an end to this wickedness.

As it is well pointed in this prediction, it is not the whish to help that will trigger the unfold of these events, but rather the selfish point of view of developed countries and organizations. Letting Africa starve to death is not only bad for the african's themselves, but for the developed countries as well. Each man that dies in poverty is a potential customer that never had the chance to be. The awareness of the economic necessity of creating new markets WILL BE the key milestone for efective poverty reduction strategies aimed at the underdeveloped countries. This, I trust, will not happen until 2040, in a somehow optimistic prediction. It is a sad conclusion that selfishness rather than good will can bring more fortune to those people.
