All the countries in the world will come to an agreement to disarm the armies. Using all those trillion dollars in more useful things like eliminating world hunger and space travelling.. So the only use for the armies will be to aid in disasters and reforest the planet.
It may be discussed but the disarmament talks will take over 23 months. At that time a war that has been going on for thousands of years will escalate dividing the people into three factions, The Followers, The Guardians, and the Children. The Followers will be with the Fallen Angel, The Guardians will protect The Children who will be with our creator.

I dont think anything like that will ever happen. It would be against the human instinct to strive for gaining power.
