Sensor Implants

Realistically speaking, it will take about three years to develop sensors that would be implanted in the bodies of paraplegics who will, with help from these sensors regain the feel of their legs. These sensor chips would be used to transmit sensors to the nervous system. However, more complex devices that would enable paraplegics to walk are still about nine/ten years away.
