There are many doom-Sayers, who propose alarming conditions due to steady increase in Global Warming. The middle of 21st Century will witness an increase in pollen levels. Higher levels of smog and allergens will mean more complications for patients, more asthma attacks, more hospitalizations, and more "bad air days" on the whole!

This prediction would go against the reasoning of the Kyoto Agreement. Most of the worlds main countries both agreed to Kyoto and are attempting to meet the legislation that was provided, one stuck out however was the U.S.A. that suggested the time frame was too soon for them to change everything so they wanted the time period increased.

It's suggested with every year that comes closer to the Kyoto agreements deadline the air quality should in fact improve.

As for pollenation, You could suggest that the attempted mass approval of Genetically Modified crops will potentially lessen pollen [as one of the original concerns of GM crops was the genetic mutation of Non-GM crops through pollenation, it's possible that the pollencount of GM crops could have been reduced through Genetic Modification to aleave those fears.]

It's also suggested [not proven], that small holding farmers that do not have contracts to meet superstore quotas spread the rumours of GM being bad for fear of their market share for normal crop growing would become uncompetative with the super-crops promised by GM.
