according to my research hypothetical gravitational waves that MIT and LIGO search for 15 years already will be never discovered because they are pure math speculation, they do not exists as a physical reality, see more:

http://www.zapfuture.com/fortopic274.html

gravitational waves will not be discovered into next 20 years

gravitation is a non propagating force that keeps together grains of space called \"quanta of space\" (QS). Density of quanta of space in a given volume of space depends no the amount of mass into it. More mass is present, higher density of space. Mass and density of space are related according to the formula:

D = m x G

D is the density of space in the centre of the planet or star

m is the mass of the star

G is gravitational constant.

Round distribution of quanta of space around mass determinates its geometrical shape, its roundeness.

Density of space is interesting. It goes hand in hand with mass-density of matter.
If light has gravity by virtue of its energy it would be similar to a gravity wave in that it would move at light speed. But light's energy is distibuted over its wave so its gravity will take a different form than matter's in that it would be spread out. Due to its mass not being concentrated it will have an effect on the kind of curvature light can generate. This gravitational curvature by light needs to be addressed.
