My wife is doing a paper on affordable housing and I would like your ideas of where it is heading.
we think pre-fabricated homes could be the answer. Imagine going into Lowes/ home depot, designing your fully functional house on a computer, seeing a mock up of it, ordering the parts andwatching them be delivered all on the same day.
ideas!!!!

It is a fabulous idea <thumbs up>.
To contribute, I would suggest dividing the concept into material category and level category.
The two groups form a matrix to direct the user to whether the user wants to build a single, double or triple level house and no more for technical reasons.
The other direction of the matrix is whether the prefabricated material is wood-wood-brass based or concrete-brick-aluminium based. Naturally, this is only an example that could be expanded.
As an optional idea, the data base can hold available lands to match one with the final area of the custom designed house while giving the option of garden/ backyard size to add to the footprint of the house.
Just my two cents. _________________ Hemetis
