There is a prediction by MOIZ who thinks that the Nations of the world will all sign a treaty to disarm. Does anyone else think such a thing possible?
I would hope to see the day but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting |

| I agree that it’s not going to be an easy job, and it probably won’t happen at all, but to rule it out entirely is pessimism. Maybe in the next ten years or so when the world is more inclined towards peace, after all this WAR on Terror stuff, then maybe our leaders will realize that our created weapons come back to hunt us! |

It is not about pessimism, mate, it is about knowing what you are talking about. I believe nothing of the sort can happen until or unless we change the basic psyche of the human race…as a race, we love POWER! And that is what drives us into working on bigger and more destructive weapons…we like to know that people are scared of us …that’s what we are…as a race…not just as individuals. |

| I think, realistically, such a step can not be taken until or unless the political conflicts such as the Middle East conflict and the India-Pakistan Kashmir dispute can be solved. There are other such conflicts but these two are the big ones, and sadly ebough, they seem to be too hot to handle! |

Also I would like to add the point that the Nations of the world can not come to a resolution such as giving up all their weapons because even though they ARE controlled and are under the moral and political obligations, the terrorist elements; be it organized terror or sporadic violence, can not be controlled at all. No means to do that whatsoever |
