Has anyone watched Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary? What do you think of it?
Personally, it gave me nightmares to think that THAT is the man who is the head of the most powerful Nation in the world!
What I would really like to discuss is the role of the media war is going to play in the future of politics. One does not need to be a rocket scientist to see that such documentaries can ruin a political career, or change the way people think about a certain Nation. Do you think these documentaries will be more successful in the future?

| I think the MEDIA WAR you referred to is already in full flow. In this Global Village every country (or person) has interests to protect…not to mention skeletons to hide, therefore, to have a strong media is the way forward especially for those who want to make their presence felt. |

To be very sure it is a valid point that today’s media is being used to wage a war right in the middle of our TV lounge! They feed people the news they WANT them to know and not what is really going on.
This is not just the case with any one country; I have rarely seen a piece of news without the media, one way or another, trying to bias your thinking. |

Just take a look at the depiction of Saddam or Bin Laden on Al Jazeera and you’ll think there are no greater saint then them and then switch over to CNN and witness their evil!
Same goes for the American presence in Iraq; they are liberators on one channel and invaders on the other. It’s a confusing world and there is no one to be believed in! |

You have bought the lie Pundit.
"Accuse your enemy of being what you are." Carl Marx
"The bigger the lie the more it will be believed." Adolph Hitler |

Are you suggesting that Bush is a goody-two-shoes? Even if we dont take that dosumentry seriousely, enough has happened in Iraq and Afghanistan to see that he is a war mongerer...probebly a dangerous guy on the loose! |

Bush is non of that, he is simply an idiot with lots of charisma.
The real players are the ministers and the top clearance staff, who has higher clearance than the president himself and the senators.
Bush was fooled all the way and that is why he was re-elected.
Bush proved to be easy to convince to stop Iraq from the production of weapons of mass destruction while they were being starved economically to death. What an idiot! _________________ Hemetis |
