| Bush should be addressing the borders. I know a way he could do it cheap: ask the Mexican government to join in. Killing two birds with one stone! |

What started as a realization that Bush is neglecting our borders in his NOT adding the additional border security agents he promised has now apparently blown up into a national anti-illegal alien hysteria and some politicians are using this to implement delusional and unrealistic laws in hopes of getting votes back home.
Now the focus is less on border security and more on sending those already here back "home". An unrealistic, unachievable goal.
We should be concentrating on stopping new would-be illegals from coming in.
That would be far cheaper and more achievable than carting 12 million folks to Mexico.
Just give us those security agents you promised, Bush!! |

"He picks and chooses his information and can't admit
it's erroneous, and he annoys me," said Colleen
Kucinski, walking Aleks, 5, and Gregory, 2, home.
Would she support impeachment? Kucinski wags her head
"yes" before the question is finished. "Without a
doubt. This is far more serious than Clinton and
Monica. This is about life and death. We're fighting a
war on his say-so and it was all wrong."

| I heard Bush has asked Vincente Fox to stop the illegals. Vincente said he didn't have the constitutional right to do it. What an excuse. |

I'm happy Bush asked for help.
Good move.
It would also be helpful if he learned about the lack of border security personnel and funding that he's responsible for and try to clean up his mess there.
The minutemen are reporting violations to security agents that are physically limited in what they can actually accomplish in responding to any reports.
Forget box cutters.
We need to keep an eye out for nuclear material and little bottles of nasty little things that don't like to be pent up in little bottles.
We need more agents on our borders, at least to check for this kind of stuff.
The extremists want to paint this as an immigration issue.
The bigger deal, something apparently elusive to some of our leaders and policy makers, is protecting our borders and ports.
The potentiality of certain incoming "things" trumps the carriers of those things.
We can punish and detain people and cart them hither and thither and beyond, but let's protect our borders and ports for gosh sakes. |

That is a brilliant idea! Might be way they already did. I guess it's not asking them to help, but getting them to help. You have to remember, Mexico's poor--that's why they're trying to get over here in the first place. _________________ If we do not learn from our mistakes, there is no point in having them. |

| The 700 mile fence should be built also. If it is true that only imigrants will do some of the work the rest of american's won't do why not let the LEGAL IMIGRANTS do it then? Otherwise the border patrol should be told: Shoot to Kill!!! |
