In the last couple of days some users have submitted articles that were entirely copy-pasted from other sources; needless to say that these articles can't be accepted.
There are rules to copy-paste from other sources and those must be obeyed: sometimes you can copy the complete article, sometimes you don't. Either ways you always have to indicate the source. The way to know what you can and can not do is to check the copyright rules from the source you’re copying the news from.
The general rule is that you can copy parts of an article, as long as they can be clearly identified as "quotations". You must also include the name of the source and the complete URL.
Most of the times, users also include their comments on the news. It is very important to have in mind that these comments are priceless, because they are unique and because they are yours. So, instead of being mixed and lost amongst the entire text, they should always be in a prominence position and formatted in a relevant way. Check, for instance, the posts from Roland.
