Get a glimpse of your future car key with the new redcare auto-txt system from BT. The device combines Bluetooth with GSM and other technologies to protect your car - enabling satellite tracking (across 27 European countries) of a stolen car and allowing police to remote immobilise a stolen car.
After unlocking the car, the user is asked for a PIN on their Bluetooth device. If entered correctly, the car can be driven normally. When the driver leaves the car, it automatically becomes armed.
